Registration and Badges 

During the WTS Policy Symposium, your badge must always be visible. Spouses, friends, peers, etc. are not granted access to any symposium areas or events without a badge. If you wish for anyone to accompany you to any of the symposium events, you must register them and pay the appropriate fees.    

Symposium Registration Cancellation 

All cancellations must be in writing and emailed to programs@wtsinternational.org. Registration cancellation fees submitted by close of business on Friday, March 1st will be fully refunded, minus a  25% cancellation fee.  Refund requests for Policy Symposium registration will be processed 7-10 days post Symposium closing. Registrant no-shows will not be refunded. If WTS International cancels the 2024 Policy Symposium for any reason, all registrants will be notified by email to the address used in their original registration.

Symposium and Event Anti-Harassment Policy 

Attendees, staff, and sponsors at the WTS International Policy Symposium shall together provide a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion.  We do not tolerate harassment of symposium participants in any form. 

Symposium participants who violate these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the symposium organizers. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion, and actions such as deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. 

Symposium Health and Safety 

The health and safety of all WTS members and event participants remains our top priority. We will continue to follow guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as state and local requirements to meet safely. 

At this time, WTS International will not require proof of COVID-19 vaccination status or a negative test result to be presented at our 2024 Policy Symposium. Mask-wearing is encouraged but will be optional. 

As information pertaining to COVID-19 requirements is ever-evolving, this policy is subject to change at any time. WTS International cannot guarantee that vaccination or masking requirements will not be different or subject to enforcement by the start of the event. 

Photography 

WTS International will be video recording and taking photographs during various portions of the 2024 Policy Symposium. By entering the venue, you are giving permission to be filmed and photographed and for the film and/or photographs to be used by WTS International in all manner of media throughout the world; you also waive all rights with respect to and release WTS International from any claims related to WTS International’s use of your name, image, likeness, voice, or quotes.
